The vertical sections are referred to as frames or end frames, held together with horizontal and diagonal bracing. The bottom section will have feet or footplates, and these may have shims or spacers beneath to level the racking over uneven surfaces. The large horizontal sections are referred to as beams, standard sizes are 1350mm – 2700mm and 3300mm with loaded weight capacities between 1-3tonne, this is referred to as UDL (uniformly distributed load) and is normally displayed on a load notice at the end of an isle of racking.

We sell our Mezzanine floors straight from site providing a saving to our customers. We can supply / deliver and install anywhere in the UK. We provide all of the components needed, chipboard T&G flooring, steel purlins, steels, mezzanine stairs, fire escapes, used mezzanine handrails and loading gates.
